Overview
DPX type germ cyclone is an advanced equipment of digesting and absorbing foreign advanced technology, replacing germ buoy float tank in corn starch production process, which is an ideal equipment for improving starch and germ yield. It is mainly used to separate the germ after coarse crushing of the corn.
The equipment is a static device with simple structure, advanced design, convenient installation and large production capacity. As long as the number of the swirl tube is changed, it can be applied to different processing amounts.
Operation principle
After coarse pulverization of corn (de-embryo), the germ is in a free state. The pulverized material is rotated into the cylindrical portion of the cyclone from the feed inlet under a certain pressure. Due to the different specific gravity of the germ and corn syrup, under the action of centrifugal force, the free germ overflows from the overflow outlet, and the corn syrup is discharged from the lower part.
